Foiljana is a rural area under the district of Pabna in the Nothern Bangladesh. Foiljana YMCA was established through the patronage of the National Council of YMCAs of Bangladesh in the year 1978.

Mr. Eugene S. Rebeiro was the founding President of Foiljana YMCA. Mr. Rebeiro played a pivotal role to establish Foiljana YMCA.

Foiljana YMCA offers various programs for the rural poor with a view to uplift their social and economic conditions. Community Organizing Program is one of the main programs of Foiljana YMCA operated with a view to empower the people at the grass root level. Foiljana YMCA also runs a number of Free Primary Schools under the Non Formal Primary Education Method in order to increase the literacy rate amongst the under privileged  children. Beside these, Adult Literacy Classes are held to impart functional education to the adults. To address the environmental issues, the Foiljana YMCA has set up a plant nursery to produce tree saplings for the augmentation of the afforestation program. A free clinic will also be set to provide health facilities to the rural poor. Foiljana YMCA could manage to procure its own land and property, where most of its programs are operated.
