Introduction

 

 

Dinajpur  YMCA  was  founded on June 12 in the year 1973. Mr.Robert N. Das was instrumental in founding the Dinajpur YMCA. Mr. Paul Charua Tigga also helped him to perform initial tasks of formation of the YMCA Dinajpur is situation in the northern region of the country.

Dinajpur YMCA offers a wide range of program both for the people at the grass root level and for its members. 115 members are involved with Dinajpur YMCA who devotes their time and energy for the betterment of the YMCA with a view to serve the Society.

  • Dinajpur YMCA runs a Vocational Training Center, offering training to youths for their skill development in Electronics and Tailoring.

  • Hard to Reach Children are offered Free Primary Education through six Free Schools.

  • Poor but meritorious students who still continue their studies in high schools are provided with monthly stipends.Community Organizing 

  • Program is operated for the empowerment of the people at the grass root level.

  • Adult Literacy Classes are held for the people who didn't have access to education in their early life.
