YMCA YWCA World Week of Prayer 2003 |

Dhaka YMCA and YWCA of Dhaka had jointly organized a prayer meeting on November 12, 2003 at the Dhaka YMCA premises on the occasion of observance of the YMCA-YWCA World Week of Prayer 2003. This year the theme of the Prayer Meeting was "Healing and Wholeness: The Global Challenge of HIV/Aids". In the beginning, Mr.Tarsicius Palma, General Secretary of Dhaka YMCA welcomed all the Members at the Prayer Meeting. |

| Mr. Sylvester Halder was the key note speaker. He elaborated that the reason for the spread of the HIV/Aids were mainly for the perverted human behavior. He also stressed that the reason of this pandemic is directly related with poverty. He explained many instances from the biblical perspective of Old Testament as well as from the New Testament, to establish his statement. Proper adherence to the biblical teachings could relieve us from the curse of HIV/Aids. |

Halder Assistant General Secretary of YWCA of Dhaka made a vote of thanks to all the Members of the YWCA and YMCA at the Prayer Meeting. A good number of YWCA-YMCA members attended the prayer meeting. |
