Inauguration of Foiljana YMCA Flood Shelter

Floods and Cyclones are common phenomena of Bangladesh. The YMCAs of Bangladesh always responds in mitigating the suffering of the victims who are afflicted with natural calamities like floods and cyclones. With a view to provide shelter to the disaster victims, the YMCAs have built three Cyclone Shelters in the coastal region and six Flood Shelters in different parts of the country where floods often occur. It is worth mentioning that the Tokyo YMCA of Japan has been contributing financially to this humanitarian effort. With feeling of gratitude, we convey our thanks to them.
