Chittagong YMCA Hosts Christmas Re-union

Members
along with their families participated at the Christmas Re-union of Chittagong YMCA which was held on
30th January 2009 at YMCA Bhavan, Chittagong.
Mr.
Thomas Costa, Chairman Program Sub-Committee coordinated this program and
welcomed the guests.
Mr. Symon P. Adhikary and Mr. Duncan
Chowdhury, President and National General Secretary of the National Council
of YMCAs of Bangladesh respectively, were present as Guests of Honor at the
Program. |

Former Chairman Mr. Alfred Biswas inaugurated the program with a devotion.
He also delivered a Special Christmas Message. The members of Chittagong YMCA Youth Forum presented a series of Christmas Hymns after the
prayer. A Christmas Cake was then cut by the Mr. S. Arnold Karmaker,
Chairman of Chittagong YMCA, together with Mr. Adhikary and Mr. Chowdhury
who also spoke on the occasion. |

Mr. Karmaker, Chairman of Chittagong YMCA introduced the newly appointed
Assistant General Secretary Mr. Eslyn Charles Dias to all members present.
The new AGS in his short message sought cooperation from all members to
continue his services smoothly in the days ahead . Mr.Victor Penheiro
Convener of the Youth Forum conducted Community games for the members and
their family members. Prizes were distributed to winners by Mr. Symon P.
Adhikary. Finally the members & guests joined for a fellowship dinner. |
