YMCA Training Centre Annex Building

The National Council has always been active in providing leadership and skill development training in various areas for the lay leaders, professionals and programme participants. Most of these training are held at the YMCA Training Centre situated at Savar about 26 kilometres from Dhaka.

 With view to increase the capacity of the existing centre, the National Council has taken an initiative for the expansion of the building. In this connection, the foundation plaque of the proposed Annex Building was unveiled by Mr. Marcel A Gomes, President of Bangladesh YMCAs during the 28^th Annual General Meeting of 15^th April 2005, in a very cheerful atmosphere. The occasion was also put on glory with the huge presence of leaders and professionals of Bangladesh YMCAs. The annex building shall provide modern facilities in arranging training along with accommodations.
